sick...again

sometimes i wonder if that old saying about knocking on wood after you say something bad. in hopes that it doesn't happen.  i mean...really?  why do we do that.  well, several weeks ago at bible study i was chatting with a group of gals and made the statement that we had had much illness in our home this winter.  WOW! less than 23 hours later, my middle guy shot up a fever of 102.9.  what...i mean really...funny thing i even leaned over and knocked on wood, that was suppose to help right.  well, it backfired. all three of my little guys have ended up with fevers, runny noses, coughs.  which equals, mom not going to school, make-shift sub plans, several trips to the peds office, hometown pharmacy, and yes many many hours of snuggles ( ok, I wouldn't trade that part).  here is to hoping that all finally blows over and doesn't come back.  hope you all are doing well.
